Random ADHD Lemon #5: Rebellion of the Neurodivergents
Juicy reads, rebellious wins, and citrus-flavoured chaos. Another zesty issue of Random ADHD Lemon straight from the Substack-verse — squeezed together for your delightfully divergent brain.
Hey there, it’s JayJay again. I am really trying to keep this series up, especially because the world seems to descend into some weird stage of end-time capitalism. Never before in human history have we found so many open doors towards a just society, but at the same time, we are facing more than a few existential crises and backstabbing political policies.
But there is one glimmer in the dark: all the wonderful neurodivergent lemons, oranges, grapefruits, and limes out here on Substack, sharing their experiences, hopes, and encouragements.
An idea is bulletproof once it’s set into the world. The Age of Neurodiversity cannot be reverted — and the following posts prove that right.

writes in her most recent post “The cognitive challenges of ADHD” about why they matter in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). Its part 9 of a series of so far planned 10 posts about this. Super insightful and interesting to read!🌄 Something quite existential, but rebellious comes from
in her post “They Called Me Paranoid—Until Project 2025 Proved Me Right.” and a freeing AuDHDer message to the world: “Assimilation Nearly Killed Me. What If We Stopped Asking Neurodivergent People to Blend In?”🏛
on why ADHD is political: “Yes, ADHD is Political: ADHD women even more so”. I can really recommend to read it, even when you don’t identify as a woman.🧩 A piece by

Random ADHD Lemon #4: The Lemonade Stall
Welcome back to a brand new edition of “Random ADHD Lemon”! But this time with a little twist!🍋 Starting from today, I will be sharing a completely revamped, unplanned, truly random, and yet informative service post. Imagine it like a lemonade stall of all kinds of citrus fruits: Oranges, limes, clementines, grapefruits and more.
That’s it for now — and for the second round of this revamped Random ADHD Lemon series! If you’ve got feedback, I’d love to hear from you in the comments or the subscriber chat, where I’ve opened a thread for reflections and future post suggestions.
Feel free to drop your own posts there, too — share them with the world, and you might get featured in the next Random ADHD Lemon! 🍋
In the meantime check out the posts linked in this round up and read some of my articles you might have missed out on. Or if you did already, maybe read them again, send some love ❤️ and share them with your family and friends.
Stay wild, neurodivergent, and as always: Lídiant Wíalë!
See you around,
JayJay out! 🎤
